The NEW look is finally here

Ok I know it took FOREVER to get here. But I finally finished it. It's nothing really special.

I didn't end up going with the F-117 body styling. However I did keep it in mind when re-doing the Hydro.

As you can see not that much has changed. Just the "capsule" with all the electronics.

Here's some quick snap shots of the progression:

As you can tell I kept it pretty simple. I did get rid of the "spoilers" from the second revision. I have been thinking. An I think if I use Y-splitters for the already mixed servos. Plug them One end of the splitter into channel six as well. then I may be able to make Flaper-ons in the back. Along with my already mixed Elevons. So then I'll end up with better results then the spoilers I had in the front.

As of right now I don't have any Y-splitters unless I make some from then extentions that I have.

How ever with this new setup with the big intakes on the sides. I do not think I am going to put this baby in the water. The last thing I want is a couple hundred dollars of electronics going up in smoke.

So maybe you can see how I kept the idea of the stealth with the intakes and the triangle-ness of the body? I also am going to possibly be making the outside verticles have small rudders as well. I know V1 and V2 were really sharp on turns. But with the amount of throw that the Elevons and Rudder have The collide and get in the way of eachother. So by making the outer stablizers rudders as well. Im hoping to have the same sharp tunrs with softend throws.

To do this I am going to set it up like speed boats with thriple and quad outdrives. Where they are all connected with a pivioting rod.

When the Weather decides to cooperate I'll try to get a VID up.

New Look Comming Soon

I used the servos from the hydro to use on the Bi-Panda. and the Body on the Hydro was made just to barely fit the small servos i had. So the Hydro Needs a new top half.

I wasn't really impressed with it any how. I wanted to put a F-117 body on it. but an idea I had on that went south. So I'm not sure what I'm leaning towards now.

I hope to think of something soon though.

I really like to get it back out there for some more testing.

That's all i have on that for now.

from the short click above you can I'm not the greatest.

well I've got an idea that will help me out.

I added mechanical front spoilers. This is to help be able to drive on the ground with out the Hydro wanting to take off. this will be done with the spoilers in the (up) position. An when it comes time to get some air and fly around, this will be done by a click of a switch and the spoilers will go down.

to do this. part of the body had to be cut out. In order to get the servo in. An also run the push rods.

Tools & Supplies used:
1. Razor blade
2. Ruler
3. Pen
4. Soldering iron
5. Pliers
6. Hot glue gun
7. 5 min. Epoxy
